In October 2021, the Southeastern Museums Conference (SEMC) awarded Danger, Deception, and Disguise with the Honorable Mention award in the Under $10,000 category of the Exhibition Competition.

"Danger, Deception, and Disguise" is the Berman Museum's new permanent gallery that explores the mysterious world of espionage and pays homage to our founders, Farley and Germaine (Kinne) Berman, who met while spying on each other during WWII.
This exhibit presents those who put their lives at risk serving undercover, as well as the materials and objects used in covert actions taken as a result of intelligence gathering and analysis.
